Kodi Not Working on BT ISP – How To Disable the BT Parental Controls 4

In this guide, we show you how to disable the BT Parental controls, and unlock blocked sources for KODI. It’s no secret that the internet has its dark corners, and credit to the ISP for implementing what should and is typically a great addition. New customers probably didn’t even know that by default you ISP has blocked content to specific sites and the content. This is an issue for Kodi users as some sources are listed as malicious, and this means your friends, family and even neighbours may have a hassle-free Kodi experience, but you don’t. Thankfully the fix will take 2-3 minutes at most to configure, assuming you know your login credentials! 😀

  • The settings page is currently but could change at any time, if not valid, and you are redirected to the BT homepage, then do google search “BT Parental Controls”

  • Look for Your Package section and then click  ‘Manage your extras.’

  • You can tweak and adjust the preset filters, but to determine the cause. Click Manage BT Parental Controls. Turn the slider Off. The effect is not instant, wait 10 minutes, restart your PC/Router or TV box and try again.

Enjoy the content but keep in mind, children/teens are now exposed to potential threats and malicious sites.
